Seeing the Fast and Furious franchise has almost become a little tradition in our family. I can remember going to see the earlier films and absolutely loving them.
For those of you who haven't heard of or had the privilege of watching this saga please do yourself a favour and invest a few hours into the first film. There is just something about all the racing, magnificent cars, the romance, the brotherhood, the cliffhangers and the overall family feel that makes these movies so successful.
Last week the Dwan's headed out for a lovely family dinner and movie combo and I must say the Fate of the Furious did not disappoint. However, having to inhale our dessert to make it in time to see the start was slightly inconvenient, instant stomach ache.
There was all the expected drama with some unexpected developments thrown in there too. It was everything a Fast and Furious film should be; excellent soundtrack, amazing cars, special effects, unrealistic manoeuvres, a great sense of humour and fast-paced action.
I don't want to give away any spoilers but it was so nice to see some of the older cast back again, think bad guys finally helping out the right team.
What I love most about these movies is that there is no intended demographic. Both men and women can love these films and there is no real age limit. They are perfect for the whole family.
Having researched a little more into this franchise it seems there are still two more instalments due for release in 2019 and 2021. I don't know about you but I can't wait for the next four years to fly by so I can see the final product of this great movie series.
