Our Travels

I'm so lucky to have had so many amazing experiences during my childhood. Every year was filled with at least one spectacular holiday either at the Gold Coast or visiting some new place in Australia.

As a family we clocked thousands of kilometres travelling down most of the east coast including Airlie Beach, Sydney, the Great Ocean Road and Melbourne. We also saw the countryside during our trips to Warwick and Stanthorpe. There was one special year in which we ventured to New Zealand and went on a P&O cruise through to Noumea, New Caledonia.

There were also plenty of spectacular camping trips to Imbil, Bundaberg, Balina and Lake Boondooma surrounded by many family friends.

It's only now that I look back and can fully appreciate just how lucky I was to be given such a treasured childhood. The memories I have of these trips are so very special and not something I will ever take for granted.

As I now long for time off and planning holidays I realise just how much my parents have given me and Jacinta. We were so blissfully unaware of how hard they worked to give us the very best experiences.
